This helmet makes your soldier stand to attention!

TL; DR: If you like stimming on the glans then this is a must-have electrode.

This is a fantastic electrode with a design that's unlike anything else on the market, except for it's sibling design: the Jet Set Willy Electrode.

Whilst I have only used the Helmet Electrode, I imagine the Jet Set Willy feels very similar in use due to the defining feature of both their designs whereby a moulded stainless steel cap encases and stimulates the entire glans. Because the glans is very sensitive, especially on uncircumcised penises, using estim in this location can become overwhelming and uncomfortable. This is where these electrodes come into their own: used with a generous dollop of conductive lube they spread the stimulation out over the whole surface of the glans leading to a much more pleasant sensation than that experienced when using other electrodes which only make contact with a smaller surface area.

Being a monopolar electrode you need to pair it with another electrode elsewhere. Particularly good options include: a loop around the base of the penis or one around the balls; a sticky pad on the perineum; or an anal insertable, particularly if it can be positioned close to the prostate. But of course other possibilities exist too, so get experimenting!

Why did I choose the Helmet over the Jet Set Willy? There are three main differences between the two designs. The first is the Set of connectors available: the Helmet only has a small loop to which you attach a small crocodile clip (supplied with the electrode), whereas the Jet Set Willy also has connectors for 2mm TENS pins, 4mm banana plugs, and 3.5mm snap connectors. Secondly, the reason the Helmet is lacking the additional connectors is that it replaces them with a slot through which a non-slip elasticated strap (also supplied with the electrode) can be threaded. This holds the electrode in place and is a real benefit if either the corona of your glans isn't very pronounced or if you shrink and grow during a stimming session. Finally, the design of the cap differs: the Helmet contains a gap which allows those with either a Prince Albert piercing or a tighter or more sensitive frenulum to use the electrode, at the expense of a (very) small reduction in surface area.

When choosing your electrode (and you should choose one!) you'll want to consider the above differences to help you decide between the Helmet or the Jet Set Willy. It is also crucial to select the correct size in order to ensure that the electrode is large enough to fit but not so large as to leave gaps and thus lose contact with some of the glans. So I'd strongly recommend that you buy a sizing kit first to help you choose the correct size.

Thank you so much for your incredible feedback. I have no doubt that lots of people will find it very useful and you succinctly describe the differences in the two design. I am delighted to hear that you are enjoying your Helmet electrode. Happy stimming.
