E-Stim Electrodes

When looking to buy e-stim electrodes to use on yourself or others, there are a few factors that you should bear in mind.

Materials matter. Different materials have differing levels of conductivity and that will affect how much power is needed for a given sensation. Metal electrodes like ones made out of aluminium or stainless steel have much lower resistance levels and so need less power than conductive rubber electrodes.

Size matters too. The larger the contact surfaces of an e-stim electrode, the smoother the sensations will be. That is due to the electrical energy being applied to your body over a wider area. It's almost counter intuitive, larger electrodes feel weaker, while smaller ones can be more intense.

How many poles do you need? We carry lots of different e-stim electrodes with multiple configuration choices. One thing you need to remember is that you need two electrodes in contact with your body to form a circuit. To that end you will need two monopole electrodes or one bipolar electrode to make a circuit. Tri-pole electrodes give you lots of connection possibilities and it is possible to mix and match contact surfaces between electrodes for example using the tip of a bi-polar insertable butt plug and a monopole cock loop.
